Officer Elections

Available Office Positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board of Directors(3), Committee Chairs

It is that time of year when again you are asked to assume a key position in the PHPA. Nominations are open for all offices of the club, and new faces with fresh ideas are requested. Over the years the PHPA has set and accomplished many goals, in May 2003 the first Horse Appreciation Day was held in correlation with the Preakness. The success of this event was amazing, the weather was damp, but the crowds came . This event has been repeated with continuing sucess. The 2010 PHPA board will continue the quest of the Club, trail rides, fun shows, create, stimulate, and promote interest in horses, horsemanship, and horseback riding as a recreational activity. Since the clubs inception, members have organized horse related activities such as clinics, trail rides, photo contests, fun horse shows, youth riding camps, fund raisers, and guest speakers at their monthly meetings. In order to keep the county informed that these issues are important to the horse owners/enthusiasts, we must be a viable active club, in order to achieve this we must have dedicated people to lead the club through 2010. If you believe you can continue to keep this Club on the forward track, we accept your nomination. There are committee chair positions avail if you want to take an event or activity and run with it.....offices are also a good place to make a difference.......board members are needed for the support of the officers....there is a place for YOU!!!!!

Please email Alice Dibben or call 410-255-6600, prior to the next club meeting and your name will be added to the list. Thank you for your continued support of the Pasadena Horse & Pony Association
